PM Najib urges UMNO members to close ranks, outlines GE14 strategy
PM NAJIB: Let there be no negligence or weaknesses when we are all called up to struggle on the frontline for UMNO.
UMNO president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has called on all party members taking part in the UMNO Divisional Delegates Meeting beginning today to close ranks to achieve the objectives of the party's struggles.
Najib, who is also the Prime Minister, wanted all delegates to grab the opportunity from the meeting to rise together in detailing preparations by the party machinery and outline the strategy towards being prepared to face the 14th General Election (GE14).
"Let there be no negligence or weaknesses when we are all called up to struggle on the frontline for UMNO.
"Insya-Allah (God willing) we will all emerge as the best warriors. I wish you all a successful meeting," said the Prime Minister via his Facebook and Twitter websites Friday night.
The UMNO Divisional Delegates Meetings will be held tomorrow until Aug 26 throughout the country.
The meetings are held after the UMNO branch meetings held from last March 17 until April 30.
