PM's meeting only involves PN party leaders

PUTRAJAYA:Only political party leaders from the Perikatan Nasional (PN) were present at a meeting with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin this morning.
Astro AWANI understands that they consist of PAS President, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang; MIC President, Tan Sri S. A Vigneswaran; President of Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan; and Senior Vice President of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu Sarawak (PBB), Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
UMNO President, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, however, was understood to be absent from the meeting session and was represented by Barisan Nasional (BN) Secretary General, Tan Sri Annuar Musa.
The Prime Minister held the meeting at about 9.30 this morning.
The meeting is believed to discuss the decision of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah rejecting the declaration of Emergency yesterday.
