PKR wants its secretary-general Rafizi Ramli to bring all evidence in his possession with regards to corrupt practices within the administration of the Selangor state government, including that involving cash and women, to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
PKR President Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said at the same time, the party’s Political Bureau will also look into the claims.
If it involves party members, she said, the respective individuals will be brought before the PKR Disciplinary Committee.
“The PKR Political Bureau meeting tonight has discussed the issue related to the matter raised by Rafizi in a WhatsApp message a few days ago.
“The political bureau has decided that Rafizi should report directly to the MACC pertaining to the evidence that he allegedly has,” she told a press conference after the meeting at the party headquarters here, Tuesday night.
Before this, Rafizi reportedly said he will submit documents pertaining to alleged corrupt practices in Selangor to the party president during the political bureau meeting on Tuesday.
Wan Azizah also said, the question regarding Rafizi’s position in the party was not discussed in the meeting tonight.
