Selangor UMNO, Mubarak support Najib

Selangor UMNO and the Selangor branch of the Council of Former Elected Representatives (MUBARAK) have expressed undivided support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Selangor UMNO liaison committee chairman Datuk Seri Noh Omar said he was confident that Najib would be able to overcome challenges.
Likening Najib to a skipper of a ship hit by turbulence, he said strong support from the crew would help him to pull through and emerge stronger.
Speaking at the 'Sepetang bersama Perdana Menteri" (An Evening with the Prime Minister) event here Saturday, Noh promised to recapture Selangor from the DAP-PKR-PAS coalition.
Meanwhile, Selangor MUBARAK president Tan Sri Abu Hassan Omar described Najib as the best prime minister so far.
"Najib led Barisan Nasional (BN) to victory in the 13th general election while the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) and the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) achieved 100 percent success in 2014.
Abu Hassan pledged to work with BN component parties and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to wrest back Selangor from the opposition.
