UMNO expenditures are party secrets - Tajuddin

UMNO expenditures are party secrets which cannot be revealed to the public said UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.

Tajuddin said this must also be kept a secret from the Opposition.

“If we reveal all in details, it is like exposing party’s secrets which cannot be questioned,” he said at press conference today after officiating Wanita UMNO Ampang division meeting.

“How we spend is a secret, just like DAP, PKR and PAS. If it is exposed, it will create a problem to them also,” he added.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said he had never questioned party funds when he was the UMNO deputy president.

He said this was a practice, even from the time of former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. UMNO’s Datuk Razali Ibrahim had before this called on Najib to explain the issue of political funding in detail.
