UMNO General Assembly continues debate on presidential policy speech

The 2015 UMNO General Assembly, which entered its second day today, continued the debate on the motion of thanks for the policy speech by party President Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Commencing at 8.30 this morning, another 10 debaters were scheduled to present their views including the representatives from the Wanita, Puteri and Overseas Umno Club representatives.

The debate session was later followed by the tabling of the motions on the economy, as well as religion and education.

Yesterday, Najib who is also the Prime Minister, officially opened the 69th UMNO General Assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre.

On Tuesday night, the UMNO assembly began with the simultaneous opening of the three UMNO wings, namely the Wanita, Youth and Puteri movements which was carried out by the respective leaders of the wings.
