UMNO has to continue serving as the government's backbone - Muhyiddin Yassin

“Don’t bury UMNO... this party has to be retained for us to continue becoming the ruling government,” he said when officiating the UMNO Pagoh Division delegates meeting at the Seri Pekembar Complex today.

Muhyiddin who is also UMNO Pagoh division head said its members have defended UMNO in every situation and he is confident that they will continue to do so.

He said what's important is for the country to continue to prosper and maintain a good economic situation.

Muhyiddin added whatever happens, the dignity of UMNO must be glorified as it is the backbone of the party’s success.

"We have put UMNO in a high place and we’re proud to be a Malaysian,” he said.
