Wan Azizah files motion of no-confidence against PM

Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has filed a motion of no-confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

"The motion was filed this morning as we have reason to believe that the Prime Minister has lost the confidence of the majority in the Dewan Rakyat," she told reporters at the Parliament lobby on Thursday.

She said it must be noted that the motion only relates to the loss of confidence in Najib but not in the Government.

"This is because I and many others irrespective of political affiliations believe that the difficult economic, social and political crisis this country is facing is due to the leadership crisis in the country," said Wan Azizah who is Permatang Pauh MP.
