On Saturday, UMNO secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said it was up to the members to decide on the fate of the suspended duo.

"As the secretary, it is my duty to bring this matter to the Supreme Council. But whether or not it will be decided in the meeting session, I don't know," he had said.

The status of the two leaders continue to draw questions following their involvement in the 'Dr Mahathir Declaration', in March.
