Apex banking on Lady Luck against Darul Takzim

Kelantan goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat is hoping the Red Warriors will be able to net full points when they play Darul Takzim FC in a Super League match on Wednesday.

The east coast side has not enjoyed a great start to the new season after losing two of their three matches. The treble-winners last played neighbours T-Team and lost 1-0 in that match.

Khairul Fahmi, or better known as Apex, says a win in Kota Baru will certainly cushion the team’s current heartache.

“Darul Takzim is a strong team this season…I think it’s common knowledge. When we play Darul Takzim FC, we hope luck will be on our side,” said Khairul Fahmi.

Khairul Fahmi was met at his wedding reception at a leading hotel in Damansara on Sunday.

Among those who attended the reception included Kelantan FA president Tan Sri Anuar Musa, FA of Malaysia vice president Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal, the national coaching staff, national players and several celebrities including Datuk Siti Nurhaliza.

Khairul Fahmi and Nur Eilunie Natasha tied the knot in Tumpat, Kelantan on December 28.
