This was confirmed by the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) vice-president Datuk Seri Mohamad Norza Zakaria at a press conference held at Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara, here today.
Mohamad Norza said, there is a possibility that the verdict of the hearing will be released on the same day.
“In any event of the verdict is delayed, I'd say that it would likely take between one and three days for it (the verdict) to be released,” he said.
He voiced hope for Malaysians and Chong Wei’s fans to be patient and continue giving their moral support towards the player in facing the ordeal.

"We have done the best to assist Chong Wei. He has a good track record," said Mohamad Norza.
Also present at the press conference were BAM honorary secretary Ng Chin Chai, its general manager Kenny Goh and counsel Jadadish Chandra.
Chandra said three BWF panelists have been appointed to supervise the hearing. Their names will not be revealed until April 11," said Chandra.
He also added that the counsels from Mike Morgan Sports has conducted an extensive investigation and it is confident that BWF will unveil the verdict on April 11.
The 32-year-old two-time Olympic silver medalist was temporarily suspended after his urine samples taken was tested positive for the suppressant substance, ‘dexamethasone’ at the World Championships semi-final in Copenhagen, Denmark on August 30.
