GREAT news Dota 2 fans, the moment we’ve been eagerly anticipating since last year – Valve has officially announced the new dates and location for The International 10.

Originally supposed to take place at the Avici Arena in Sweden last year, it was postponed to August 5th 2021.

Last month, Valve mentioned that there were difficulties in maintaining that plan and were looking for alternatives.

Earlier today they announced the confirmed dates and venue for the 40-million-dollar Dota 2 tournament – The International 10 will be taking place in Arena Nationala, Romania’s biggest stadium in Bucharest.

The group stage will run from 7-10 October, with the Main Stage on 12-17 October.

Live spectating will be allowed, which is great news for the people attending the event. No word on ticket prices yet but expect that to come soon.

If you’re allowed to travel and are attending, make sure you book your accommodation early and remember to stay safe! For the rest of us, make sure to catch all the action live on eGG Network TV!

The International 10

With 3 months to go and no major tournaments in between, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of meta develops for TI 10.

The patch that should drop after the qualifiers should also shake up the game a bit.

It has been so long since the previous International and personally, I’m happy we finally get some concrete dates to look forward to.

Hopefully, nothing happens from now until then – but with the pandemic going on, we can’t say for sure.
