Kelantan native Lehe “Lehe F3” is hoping that his performance in his ONE Warrior Series debut will land him more chances to compete against some of the brightest up-and-coming martial arts stars across Asia.

Lehe knocked out Singapore’s Bryan Tee in the first round at Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series 7 on Tuesday, 6 August, something he described as a “money can’t buy” experience.

“Competing at ONE Warrior Series was the biggest moment in my career,” the 22-year-old shared.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been to a martial arts event which was so well organized, and I hope my performance will lead to another call-up,” he added.

The Muay Thai 98 Fitness Gym representative looked his very best against his Singaporean counterpart in OWS 7’s first bout of the evening.

Although Tee influenced the opening seconds of the round, Lehe patiently waited for an opening and landed a right hook that brought his opponent to the ground.

“My opponent was a tough guy. He’s fought many times in other parts of the world, and I saw his strengths in some of those videos,” the Johor Bahru-based martial artist said.

“I knew if I gave him room to attack, it could end badly for me.”

The Malaysian warrior’s punching combinations continued to put Tee on the backfoot, and he narrowly missed an elbow.

But another stinging elbow from “Lehe F3” caught Tee in the face and brought the match to a swift end after 91 seconds.

“My confidence grew when I hit him with the right hand. He was down for a while, and I knew I had to follow up those strikes to get the knockout.”

According to “Lehe F3,” his elbows have been one of his most effective tools used to achieve knockouts.

“I’ve knocked out about five of my opponents with my elbows before. So, when the last one landed, I was hoping that it was enough to get me the win.”

The victory pushed his professional Muay Thai record to 14-6-1.
