Malaysia may consider India's extradition request for Dr Zakir Naik if more evidence is provided, says PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The defamation suit filed by independent preacher Dr Zakir Naik against Ipoh Barat Member of Parliament M. Kulasegaran has been settled without the need for trial at the High Court.

The trial of a defamation suit brought by Zakir against Kulasegaran will begin in March next year.

Zakir filed a suit against Raveentharan, claiming that the former assemblyman had uploaded five defamatory statements on Facebook.
