A total of 121 areas in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling and Hulu Langat are experiencing unscheduled water supply disruption from 1 pm Friday.

Water supply to 15 areas in Klang and Shah Alam which was disrupted following a broken pipe incident yesterday, is expected to be fully restored by 12.30 noon today.

Certain areas in Klang would be affected by water supply disruption from Aug 10 for Air Selangor to carry out equipment replacement works in its water distribution system.

Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd, in a statement said the ongoing repair work was expected to take 48 hours to be fully completed.

Its head of corporate communications, Amin Lin Abdullah, said supply would be restored in stages after the repairs had been completed.
