Kremlin rejects European security guarantees for Ukraine

Russia has rejected European proposals for security guarantees in Ukraine, saying it will not accept any NATO troops on Ukrainian soil.

Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov says a European troop deployment would effectively mean a NATO presence, something Moscow has sought to prevent from the start.
