A police report has been lodged following several threats against Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, a police spokesperson said Sunday, adding that “investigations are ongoing”.

Local television Channel NewAsia (CNA) reported that the threats were posted on a Facebook page on Feb 6.

In one of the posts, the writer threatened to shoot the Prime Minister while another post alleged that a bomb had been left in the Changi Airport.

According to CNA, the posts had tagged Lee, as well as the Singapore Police Force.
