1MDB regrets recycled allegations by portal
1MDB had repeatedly answered and disproved these spurious allegations, not only via press statements but also through interviews, presentations and public question-and-answer sessions.
1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) regrets that reports are being reproduced by MalaysiaKini, despite what it said to be nothing more than recycled allegations.
Referring to recent series of articles written by KiniBiz on 1MDB, the company said it was clear these continued malicious attempts were designed to derail implementation of the 1MDB rationalisation plan.
"We remain steadfast and focused on our objectives, the success of which is now clear via the binding term sheet executed with IPIC (International Petroleum Investment Company), the Share Sale and Purchase Agreement executed with the CGN Group (China General Nuclear Power Corporation) and the soon-to-be announced selection of the preferred development partner for Bandar Malaysia," it said in a statement here today.
The statement said, 1MDB had repeatedly answered and disproved these spurious allegations, not only via press statements but also through interviews, presentations and public question-and-answer sessions.
It said in addition, 1MDB had fully cooperated with the lawful authorities investigating the company, including sharing detailed information with the bi-partisan Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
