New housing for Lembah Pantai - Nong Chik
The Sri Pahang and Bukit Bangsar flats will enjoy new housing if the Barisan Nasional (BN) wins in the Lembah Pantai Parliamentary seat.
This is the promise by the Federal Territories and Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin to the people of Lembah Pantai.
Raja Nong Chik said the matter had been agreed upon by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
“There is no need for the people to move houses while the new housing is being built as it will be built in phases.
“I will also ensure that the new housing is at least 800 square feets compared to the 400 square feets,” he said when speaking to the people of Lembah Pantai in jalan Bukit Bangsar Sunday.
Meanwhile, Raja Nong Chik said he would like to continue his role as the Federal Territories and Wellbeing Minister if given another opportunity.
However, he said if he is moved to another ministry, he has no qualms to carry out his responsibilities.
Raja Nong Chik also claimed that Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar only uses the area to gain political mileage to go the next level.
He added that Nurul Izzah is not a Lembah Pantai resident and as such, she does not has the rights to represent the area.
