COVID-19: Indonesia records over 3,000 new cases, highest in 24 hours
Based on the governments official website on COVID-19 at www.covid19.go.id today, the total number of positive cases has increased to 165,887 and the fatalities reaching 7,169 - Foto BERNAMA
Indonesia has recorded 3,003 COVID-19 new positive cases within 24 hours, the highest, since the first case was detected on March 2.
Based on the government’s official website on COVID-19 at www.covid19.go.id today, the total number of positive cases has increased to 165,887 and the fatalities reaching 7,169.
Between noon yesterday and noon today, 105 more deaths have been reported in the republic.
Within that period, Jakarta recorded 869 new positive cases, the highest, and 10 more fatalities. It has also recorded the biggest total number of positive cases at 37,082, followed by East Java (32,113) and the other 32 provinces.
East Java has the highest total number of fatalities so far at 2,302, followed by Jakarta (1,156), Central Java (965), South Sulawesi (358) and the rest of the provinces.
