AN Iranian military spokesman said on Wednesday (July 22) that the United States had deployed against Iran weapons it had never used in any previous war.
General Abolfazl Shekarchi said Washington had brought "every capability, every weapon, and every forecast" it had stockpiled for World War III to bear on the Islamic Republic.

The remarks came a day before the U.S. military completed its 13th consecutive night of strikes against Iran.
The war has spread to a second major shipping chokepoint after Yemeni fighters struck two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea, prompting US President Donald Trump to promise "major military punishment" for Iran and its Houthi allies.
