MOSCOW: Russia is ready to confirm in a legal agreement that it has no intention of attacking either the European Union or the U.S.-led NATO military alliance, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Monday (December 22).
"Russia does not pursue the aggressive goals attributed to our country. As the Russian President has already stated, we are even prepared to formally enshrine this in the context of a potential resolution to the current (Ukrainian) crisis, based on the principle of equal and indivisible security," Ryabkov said.
