Anwar wins in Tambun, KJ loses in Sungai Buloh

KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has triumphed in the battle for Tambun in Perak in the 15th General Election (GE15), defeating incumbent MP Datuk Seri Faizal Azumu of Perikatan Nasional (PN).

In Selangor, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin of Barisan Nasional (BN) failed in his bid for the Sungai Buloh parliamentary seat, losing to Pakatan Harapan's (PH) Datuk R. Ramanan, while in Sungai Siput, Perak, MIC president Tan Sri S.A. Vigneswaran, also of BN, lost to S. Kesavan of PH.

Pejuang president Datuk Seri Mukhriz Tun Mahathir also failed to retain the Jerlun seat in Kedah when he lost to Dr Abd Ghani Ahmad of PN.

Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun was also defeated in Sepang, Selangor, losing to Raj Munni @ Aiman Athirah Sabu of PH.
