Boy buried under kitchen floor for eight weeks - Police
He said the police have also arrested a couple yesterday to facilitate investigations.
Police investigation revealed that the body of the boy who found under the kitchen floor at a terrace house in Kepong has been buried for eight weeks.
Gombak police chief ACP Ali Ahmad said post-mortem process is still on-going to determine the cause of death of the boy, estimated to be between eight to ten years.
He said the police have also arrested a couple yesterday to facilitate investigations.
“Police arrested the husband at 6.30pm at a restaurant in Keningau, Sabah while the wife was arrested at a house in Penampang at about 1am today,” Ali said when contacted by Astro AWANI.
The victim was found buried under a new layer of cement in the kitchen of the terrace house in Taman Usaha Jaya on Friday.
Police are conducting DNA tests on the couple to determine their relationship with the victim, Ali added.

On Friday, a contractor was about to begin renovation works at the house when he detected a stench emanating from the kitchen about 11am.
Upon checking, he stumbled on the body wrapped in cloth. The body was sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital.
The former tenant, Loo Chon Wen, 33 who had stayed at the house with wife and three children had vacated the house last month without informing thee house owner, Ng Ah Kau, 68.
Ng had several times to tried in vain to contact Loo who did not pay the rent when he vacated the house, police said.
