THE mystery of Flight MH370 is over – Prime Minister Datuk Sri Najib Tun Razak announced in a specially convened news conference at PWTC at 10 pm Monday confirmed this.
He said latest techniques used by the UK Air Accident Investigation Board (AAIB) showed conclusively that MH370 did indeed fly in the direction of the Southern Indian Ocean – the so-called Southern Corridor which has been the location of the long search for the missing aircraft.
Najib said based on data gleaned from INMARSAT and latest techniques never used before to calculate geographical location, it is now confirmed that MH370 flew south and is now somewhere in the Southern Indian Ocean.
More details will be provided in a news conference scheduled for Tuesday 25 March.
