KUALA LUMPUR: A severe-level continuous heavy rain is expected in several areas in Kelantan and Terengganu today and tomorrow.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), in a statement, said the warning was issued for Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Bachok and Pasir Puteh in Kelantan as well as in Besut, Terengganu.
MetMalaysia also issued an alert-level continuous rain warning for Tanah Merah, Machang and Kuala Krai in Kelantan; Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Kuala Terengganu, Marang, Dungun and Kemaman in Terengganu; and Kuantan and Pekan in Pahang for the same period.
According to the statement, the public can obtain information on the latest weather forecast via the myCuaca mobile application or by visiting MetMalaysia's official website and social media.
