The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Indonesia has reached 116,871 including 1,815 new cases recorded within 24 hours.
The Indonesian government's official website on COVID-19, www.covid19.go.id, today reported that 94,593 patients were still being monitored for the viral infection.
Between noon yesterday and noon today, 64 more deaths from COVID-19 occurred in the republic, bringing the tally to 5,452.
East Java Province reported the highest number of positive cases at 23,829, followed by Jakarta (23,380) while the rest of the cases occurred in 32 other provinces.
