KUALA LUMPUR: Cyber Intelligence House (CIH) and INTERPOL have inked a contribution agreement aimed at giving more bite in cybercrime investigations.
Under the agreement, CIH will be responsible to provide INTERPOL with resources and services that aid in investigating cybercrime, Virtual Asset crime and combating as well as actively monitoring the dark web.
CIH Chief Executive Officer, Mikko Niemela strongly believes it is a win-win for everyone stating "the partnership with INTERPOL gives us an excellent opportunity to learn from the frontline of investigations, enabling us to enhance our service offering even further."
"The mutually beneficial partnership will enable CIH to further develop its tools, based on feedback from INTERPOL."
CIH, a Singapore-based cybersecurity company specialising in cyber exposure monitoring will be responsible for providing technology and services to INTERPOL to help speed up investigations and conduct crime analysis.
Based on a statement, the partnership is intended to further enhance INTERPOL's cybercrime investigation capabilities.
INTERPOL is the world's largest international police organisation, formed by countries worldwide to prevent international crime.
Last November, INTERPOL created The Cybercrime Knowledge Exchange, making it easier for law enforcement, international organisations, and cybersecurity experts to exchange information.
