KUALA LUMPUR: Well-known preacher and philanthropist, Ebit Lew is planning to further expand his humanitarian and charitable work by opening a restaurant that offers free food to its visitors.

By targeting locations in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, Ebit gives the impression that the ‘Free Restaurant’ will provide food to those who are really in need and hungry.

Not only he plans to open a ‘Free Restaurant’, in fact, he also had the intention to open new accommodation for the homeless in the capital besides providing a business site for hawkers and helping them in terms of funds and others.

The plans were shared by Ebit in his meeting with Federal Territories Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa on Monday.

According to Ebit, he thanked Annuar for never forgetting or losing sight of the needy.

“Please pray for this. Many things were discussed with Tan Sri Annuar Musa for the sake of the poor and the needy.

"It was sad and touching to talk about underprivileged people. Many have been helped but many more are still in need. We are talking about the problems of poverty and the hardships of our society, "said Ebit in a post on his social media account.

During the meeting, Ebit also shared that Annuar had asked him whether he had ever felt tired of wandering here and there using his nature and funds just to help the needy.

"I answered Tan Sri must be more tired. I am just doing a little compared to the efforts of the government and other bodies. Smiles on the faces of the poor and their prayers are of great value," Ebit wrote.

For Ebit, his collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Territories is solely to help the community.

"Thank you, Tan Sri. May God give blessings and strength to continue to help the community. Hopefully, it will be a cause of goodness, "said Ebit.
