Factory technician found dead with multiple head wounds

A factory technician was found dead with multiple head wounds believed to have been hit with a blunt object, behind a factory in Senawang industrial area early this morning.

Seremban district police chief ACP Muhamad Zaki Harun said a security guard patrolling the area at about 3.10am found the victim, R. Jayaram, 56, from Sungai Gadut lying in a pool of blood.

"The security guard then called the police and upon examination, it was found that the victim died at the scene due to severe head injuries. The body was sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Seremban Hospital for post mortem," he said here.

Muhamad Zaki said following the incident, a Nepal citizen, aged 23, who worked at the same factory was arrested in a house at Taman Seri Pagi, Senawang at 6.15am.

He said investigations were ongoing and more arrests would be made soon.

He said the case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
