Gang-rape: Two teen boys among seven to enter defence

Seven men including two teenagers aged 15 and 17, have been asked to enter their defence at the Kota Bharu Sessions Court today for allegedly gang-raping two teen girls in Ketereh in 2014.
Justice Adli Abdul Ghalib made that decision after the prosecution successfully proved a prima facie case.
The accused include Muhmed Azroel Hassan, 23, Che Azuan Che Hassan, 32, Eris Che Azmi, 18, Che Muhamad Farhan Asyrif Che Mat, 18, and Mohamad Faiz Azahan, 21.
According to the charge sheet, all the accused, except for the 17-year-old, have been charged with raping two girls aged 15 and 17 at an abandoned house in Kampung Hutan Pasir in Pasir Mas between 7.30pm and 11pm on May 20th, 2014.
As for the 17-year-old accused, he was charged with raping one girl -- the 15-year-old -- in front of his peers between 2am and 3.30am the next day.
All of them were charged under the Penal Code.
