PM chairs national finance council meeting

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who is also Finance Minister, chairs the 2013 National Finance Council meeting today. The annual meeting covers allocations to all states, matters pertaining to state governments' financial management and related matters. Also present at the meeting are Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah and Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa, Public Services Department Director-General Tan Sri Mohamad Zabidi Zainal and Treasury Secretary-General Tan Sri Dr Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah. The meeting is also attended by the Mentris Besar of Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis, Kedah, Terengganu, Pahang, Perak, Johor and Kelantan as well as the Chief Ministers of Penang, Melaka and Sabah, while Sarawak is represented by Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh.
