Public service delivery can be improved through interdepartmental collaboration - Azalina

Public service delivery can be improved with cooperation among civil servants from various departments, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said.

She said the message from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak on the importance of every department and civil servant cooperating with one another at the 2050 National Transformation dialogue with civil servants yesterday should be appreciated.

"A conducive work environment is able to increase productivity among civil servants in providing the best service to the people," she said in a statement distributed at an iftar dinner attended by 400 officers and staff from 12 agencies and departments under her portfolio here Thursday.

At the dinner Azalina also presented donations to 36 officers and staff whose children or spouses are affected by disability or chronic medical conditions. - BERNAMA
