Suspects in Kim Jong Nam's murder arrive at court
Vietnamese Duan Thi Huong and Indonesian Siti Aisyah arrived with tight security forces including members from the Special Task Force On Organised Crime (STAFOC).
The two suspects accused in the murder of estranged half-brother of North Korea’s ruler Kim Jong Nam arrived at the Shah Alam High Court this morning for case remention.
Vietnamese Duan Thi Huong and Indonesian Siti Aisyah arrived with tight security forces including members from the Special Task Force On Organised Crime (STAFOC).
Each suspect arrived separately.
On March 1, Siti Aisyah and Doan, were charged with killing Jong Nam along with four others who are still free.
They allegedly committed the offense at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) Departure Hall at about 9am on February 13, according to Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries a mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
Jong Nam was at that time waiting for a flight to Macau before being approached by two foreign women who rubbed banned VX nerve agent on his face.
Jong Nam, who carried a passport in the name Kim Chol, died on the way to Putrajaya Hospital.
