Tengku Putri Sofiah laid to rest
Her remains were taken to the mausoleum in a royal hearse and carried to her final resting place by Jejawat Diraja and Shah Alam City Council officers.
Tengku Putri Sofiah, the younger sister of Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah who died at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital yesterday, was laid to rest at the Shah Alam Royal Mausoleum, at 10.45am today.
Her remains were taken to the mausoleum in a royal hearse and carried to her final resting place by Jejawat Diraja (palace assistants) and Shah Alam City Council officers.
Escorting the remains were Sultan Sharafuddin, his consort Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, and Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah.
Also present was Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Azmin Ali.
