Two wanted criminals killed in shootout with police
Two foreign criminals were shot dead at a shootout at Jalan Salor Baru here, on Tuesday night.
Two foreigners were shot dead at a shootout with police at Jalan Salor Baru here, on Tuesday night.
In the 10.05 pm incident, the four suspects were travelling in a Proton Wira,at Wakaf Che Yeh, when they saw a patrol car. They then sped off with police close behind.
Soon after, a shootout occurred between the suspects and the police.
Kelantan Criminal Investigation Department chief ACP Mohamad Fakri Che Sulaiman said two of the suspects were detained while two others died in the shootout.
The four were believed to be involved in bank robberies and has eight criminal records. They have also been on the police's wanted list.
The bodies of the deceased were sent to Raja Perempuan Zainab II (HRPZII) Hospital for post mortem.
