We are not a dictatorship government - Najib

He said the government is in line with system of democratic governance and emphasised on political stability.

"We are not a dictatorship nor do we rule with an iron fist," he said in his speech today at the opening of Muhibbah Complex at PPR Muhibbah today.

“We respect the system of democratic governance where every five years we will go back to the people to elect the new government,” he said.

Najib who is also the Barisan Nasional chairman said claims that the BN government will collapse is not true and stressed that the government is politically stable.

“What I can say is that we were able to pass the Budget with a huge majority,” he said.
