Don't blame the BN, Noh tells Dr Wan Azizah

Blaming the Barisan Nasional for the failure of ‘Kajang Move’ only showed the poor strategy of the PKR, said BN Selangor chief Datuk Seri Noh Omar.

In a sarcastic note, Noh said the move to announce Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the Selangor Menteri Besar candidate falls into pattern and as planned.

He said the position will soon he handed over to PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“If she does not comply, she will be regarded as nusyuz or disobedient. So, it is not wrong to call her Anwar’s puppet,” he said when contacted by Astro AWANI.

"Azizah can appoint Anwar as her advisor or consultant or even as the MB, its just political gim-micks,” he added.

Noh was commenting on Dr Wan Azizah who said that she will appoint her husband, Anwar as her advisor and consultant, should she succeed becoming the Selangor’s MB.

“We strategised the Kajang Move to make Anwar an assemblyman and later, the menteri besar but this was thwarted by the Barisan Nasional-led Federal government,” she was quoted telling party members in Klang, Selangor last night.

“As the Selangor MB post was always for Anwar in the first place, I would not hesitate to call on him as my consultant and advisor when I become the MB,” she was quoted.

Noh blamed Anwar for the current political chaos in Selangor over the state’s MB position.

Abdul Khalid is facing intense pressure from PKR who wants to replace him with Dr Wan Azizah. However, PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat have expressed their support for Abdul Khalid to stay on as the MB until his term expires.
