Following WSJ reports, PKR demands court to strike out GE13

Parti Keadilan Rakyat will file a suit against the Elections Commission to challenge the authenticity of the 13th General Election (GE13) following The Wall Street Journal report alleging that funds from the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) had been utilised for elections campaign.
PKR vice-president, Nurul Izzah Anwar in a statement said that the suit will be filed soon. She has also instructed all PKR state elections commission representative to lodge a report to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) this weekend.
“The court’s decision will be a catalyst to the disqualification of seats secured by UMNO and Barisan Nasional at the last general elections.
PKR also said that it was ready to retain the seats it secured if court decides to nullify the results of GE13.
