Mukhriz regrets "rough" criticism of party president
MUKHRIZ: Sometimes they express their feelings using coarse language. I regret this, I truly regret this.
Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir said he regretted the "rough" manner in which a Langkawi UMNO delegate had criticised the party's president.
"Sometimes they express their feelings using coarse language. I regret this, I truly regret this," he told reporters after witnessing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding among BDB Land Sdn Bhd, Maybank and OCBC Al-Amin here today.
He said that so far there had been no complaints against the delegate and that he hoped such incidents would not recur.
The Wanita UMNO representative had criticised Datuk Seri Najib Razak at the Langkawi UMNO delegates meeting last week.
