Penang PAS has urged party members to fully support PAS's Ulama Council decision to revoke the political cooperation with DAP.
Its information chief, Mohd Yusni Mat Piah advised Penang PAS members to be ready to carry out the instructions issued by the party leadership.
"Don't act hastily and continue to uphold our ethics. Listen and obey the decision made by the party leadership," he said in a statement here, today.
Prior to this, the Ulama Council had said it backed the party's decision to revoke political cooperation with DAP after their ties soured over hudud law, thus threatening the opposition Pakatan Rakyat coalition.
Mohd Yusni said Penang PAS fully supports the Ulama Council decision to revoke political cooperation (tahaluf syasi) with DAP.
On July 6, Penang PAS commissioner Fauzi Mohd Yusof said PAS would file a civil suit against the Penang government for sacking the party's representatives in the state's administration.

In Kuala Terengganu, PAS commissioner Satiful Bahri Mamat said Terengganu PAS fully backed the Ulama Council's decision and prepared for any backlash.
He urged all PAS supporters to stand solidly behind the Ulama Council.
In Shah Alam, Selangor PAS commissioner Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad in a statement said Selangor PAS was awaiting further instructions from the party leadership on the matter.
He said Selangor PAS would still be cooperating with the DAP in the state pending official instructions from PAS's Central Working Committee.
He added PAS's executive councillors and other officials in the state administration would continue discharging their duties pending new directives from the CWC.
