Pakatan Harapan prefers to give priority to winning the 14th General Election (GE14) compared to discussing the issue of the next prime minister.
Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) President Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said today, anyone can be nominated as Prime Minister if Pakatan Harapan wins GE14.
"Win the GE first, then, anyone can become the PM. Even you (journalists) can be the PM," she said to a press conference at the PKR headquarters here.
On Tuesday, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan has proposed for PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli and Petaling Jaya Utara Member of Parliament Tony Pua as candidates for the prime ministerial post.
He said there are many others leaders in Pakatan Harapan who can assume the role instead of former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who should have had enough after leading the country for 22 years, from 1981 to 2003.
