ONE Fighting Championship (ONE FC), Asia’s largest mixed martial arts organization is back with another explosive event dubbed ‘ONE FC: Warrior Spirit’.
The event behind Asia’s biggest fights will be held in Kuala Lumpur this November 15 at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil and will be presented by Tune Talk.
Headlining the fight card is one of the most highly-anticipated fights in ONE FC history –the inaugural ONE FC Welterweight World Championship title bout between Malaysia’s own Adam “Shogun” Shahir Kayoom and Japanese KO artist Nobutatsu Suzuki.
A statement by ONE FC said that Malaysian fans are expected to be treated to another sold-out event and fight fans are set to pack out the 15,000-seater Stadium Putra once again for a night of world-class MMA action.
Tickets for ONE FC: WARRIOR SPIRIT, presented by Tune Talk, are on sale now at www.AirAsiaRedTix.com.
Tickets are priced at RM348 for the complete VIP experience that includes exclusive red carpet entrance, access to the VIP lounge and premium cage-side seating. The categories that follow are priced at RM248, RM148, RM98 and RM48 respectively.
Fans around Asia can also catch all the action live on STAR Sports, while fans from around the world can witness the action online via live streaming at www.onefc.livesport.tv. The first two undercard fights are available for viewing free-of-charge and the main card fights will be available for purchase at just US$9.99.
ONE FC CEO, Victor Cui said his organization is putting in one of the greatest fight cards in Asian MMA history.
“We will finally settle the question of who deserves to be called the top Welterweight fighter on the planet. ONE FC is putting together a fight card that will blow away the millions of passionate fight fans all around the world.
“Of course, we are also extremely excited to have Tune Talk as an official partner of ONE FC once again. Tune Talk has proven time and time again that they are the top mobile prepaid operator in Malaysia with their forward-thinking strategies and mass market appeal,” said Cui.
Meanwhile, Tune Talk CEO Jason Lo said Tune Talk is excited to be the presenting partner again as ONE FC returns to Malaysia.
He said his company is committed to growing the sport of mixed martial arts in Asia and there is no bigger promotion in Asia than ONE FC.
“November 15 will be another night of exciting mixed martial arts action and I look forward to seeing our Tune Talk warriors compete once again inside the famed ONE FC cage,” said Lo.
The ONE FC Welterweight World Championship title fight will feature a battle between the top fighter to ever come out of Malaysia, Adam Shahir Kayoom and the veteran Japanese slugger Nobutatsu Suzuki.
Adam Shahir Kayoom is one of the most decorated Malaysian martial artists to ever compete in MMA. He holds black belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Taekwondo and Karate and has won world titles in Muay Thai as well as numerous titles and tournaments in Taekwondo and BJJ.
Nobutatsu Suzuki is a fighter with a black belt in Kyokushin Karate who has proven that he has one-punch KO power, and is famous for being the first fighter in Asia to showcase the incredible striking power of Karate in an MMA context.
ONE FC described this as the toughest fight of the careers for both Kayoom and Suzuki, that will likely be the defining fight of their MMA career as they compete to be called the one and only ONE FC Welterweight World Champion.
This is the third time that ONE FC has put on an event in Malaysia, with the previous one also held in Stadium Putra under the event, ‘ONE FC: Return of Warriors’.
