A new report by the think tank ISIS Malaysia is raising questions about the effectiveness of Malaysia’s sugar tax. This is after researchers found only modest reductions in reducing sugary drinks consumption. Does that mean the policy isn’t working? Or are we expecting too much from a single intervention?
