Astro AWANI wins Best News Media Award at the MEBA 2023

The award was presented by Tengku Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj, the Royal Patron of MEBA, at a ceremony held in a hotel in the capital city on Wednesday.

Representing Astro AWANI to receive the award was the Assistant Editor of Business, Economics, and Financial News, Harits Asyraf Hasnan, on behalf of the Editor-in-Chief, Ashwad Ismail, and all of Astro AWANI employees.

The prestigious awards ceremony for players in various sectors was organized by the Malaysia Digital Commerce Council (MDCC) and supported by the Asia Pacific Business Council for Sustainability and PERDASAMA Putrajaya.

According to MDCC President Chris Daniel Wong, the recognition of 30 companies and individuals is to acknowledge companies that have shown exceptional resilience while achieving sustainability in various fields such as leadership, innovation, technology, customer service, and strategic product development.

"The objective of the awards is to recognize the achievements of individuals and businesses in this challenging period, for their significant contributions towards sustainable economic growth of the country. This is recognition for outstanding business companies and personalities at the national and global levels," he said in his speech at the awards ceremony."
