Court issues warrant of arrest for trader over GST charge

The Sessions Court today issued a warrant of arrest for a trader who failed to attend court on a charge of failing
to have his company registered for Goods and Services Tax.

Khairil Nashreez had been charged with committing the offence on March 10 last year at the GST Division of the Royal Customs Department at Wisma Kastam here.
Terengganu Customs Department prosecuting officer Mohd Redzuan Hamdan appeared for the prosecution.
