MH370: Perak and Johor flag on half-mast following announcement

Johor and Perak had its state flag on half-mast in honour of the passengers and crew on board Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370.

Johor was the first state to take the step following the command by the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan
Iskandar who had wanted for all state government offices to have the flag on half-mast.

Johor Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khalid Nordin said that this will only be done on Tuesday.

Similarly in Perak, the Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Doktor Nazrin Shah has called for all departments, agencies, institutions, schools and even private offices to have the state flag at half-mast.

DYMM Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Doktor Nazrin Shah called for the flag to be at half-mast on Wednesday,  March 26, 2014 as a sign of sympathy and sadness of the people towards the families of passengers and crew on board flight MH370.

The Raja Muda of Perak also expressed his condolences towards the families of passengers and crew on board MH370 following the latest report on the tragedy.
