PM expressed concern over fresh wave of East Coast floods

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today expressed concern over the fresh wave of floods and the high number of evacuees in the East Coast.
He wanted all government agencies to be ready to provide any kind of assistance to the people in the affected areas.
"We must make sure that the people in need receive aid in terms of evacuation or temporary placement or post-flood rehabilitation," he said in a post on his Twitter account.
As at 5pm today, 3,916 people were at relief centres in Kelantan and 175 at relief centres in Terengganu - BERNAMA
