The Selangor flag will be flown at half-mast from today as a sign of mourning on the death of the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah.
"The State Government of Selangor declares that the Selangor flag must be flown at half-mast from today until the funeral," said State Secretary Datuk Mohammed Khusrin Munawi in a brief statement here, today.
Sultan Azlan Shah, 86, died today at 1.30pm.
His remains would be buried at the Perak Royal Mausoleum, or also called the Al-Ghufran Royal Cemetery, after Asar prayers tomorrow, announced Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.
