But much of the infrastructure supporting that digital economy extends beyond our borders. The recent conflict in Iran is a reminder that geopolitical shocks can disrupt systems, even half a world away. So how much digital sovereignty do we need as a country? And can we remain connected to the global digital infrastructure without becoming dangerously dependent on it?
